Building a storage shed

Comments about Jewett Cameron Backyard Storage Shed 8′ x 8′ x 6.6′:

I wanted to install a 8×8 Rubbermaid but my wife said to big for the yard (she is right) so i put in a 8×4 one. And I bought this which was the same price as the 8×8 rubbermaid on sale that year.I got this this in January and to cold to install until this summer. Up it went. Pretty easy installation. There are tie down ratchets the instructions say to put on outside – mistake, they will rust shut and be useless after one season. Unfortunately I followed the instructions ugh ! It’s raining now in November and starting to snow the rain leaks in in all kinds of places. So there is no way I can store anything safely. Doesn’t help there is no floor. The picture looks like there is one. How silly of me, I should know better.I’ll have to spend 51 dollars at Harbor Freight to get a tarp big enough to go over it so I can at least stop the leaks. When I bought this first they sent me a clear green house. I complained and they returned another one , but I missed the summer installation by then. So now I wait until this past summer to install, and when I do , there is no box just cardboard wrapped around but on the instructions they referred to this Shed as a greenhouse again, I couldn’t figure out why. but I don’t think its the shed I was trying to buy, if it was a shed why would it leak ? I’m just so tired of messing with this thing and there is not much I can do since they took so long in sending to me. I guess I’ll just have to eat the [$].Hey DSG can’t you do better than this ???also if this was a shed, why would it leak? Spending more money just it to stop leaking is crazy. I still think its a greenhouse …It’s 10 degrees with a wind chill below 0 and I gotta go outside and work on this to put a tarp on it after paying 51 bucksLast time I do business here !!!
