The current Mrs Uncle Wilco is joining the shed world, well the summerhouse world, we are waiting on delivery, it will used as a reading and writing room (it’s from http://www.waltons.co.uk/) and will be put at the bottom of the garden, within view of the current shed, so it can keep an eye on this young upstart.
As I’m not very handy on the real end of the shed world, otherwise I would build something myself, but i’m not really to be trusted with power tools.
Currently the area it will be put on, is earth with plastic membrane and gravel, so I figure that I need to lay a concrete base (hopefully my handy cousin will help, offered him food and drink).
I have removed some old shrubs and cleared the area, but need more advice, so had a quick look online and found the following resources from various sources and manufactures

The most important thing to do when building your new concrete base is to get it right – please remember that concrete is virtually impossible to fix if something goes wrong! If you’re not a competent DIYer we’d recommend you seek advice from a local builder.
